Nearby: A look behind the facade

Finally a new post! I have wanted to photograph the facade of this nearby office building since a long time, but I had difficulties finding a composition that I was satisfied with. The facade is composed of greenish glass panes with black dots, but unfortunately there is neither much contrast between the black dots and the dark glass, nor is there a structural element that would cast interesting shadows. On a recent photo walk in my neighborhood, I discovered that one of the glass panes was broken and thus permitted a look behind the facade. As expected, the back light now created a highly contrasty scene and, in my opinion, an interesting composition. An example that illustrates that sometimes the inside is more interesting than the outside and that it is worth revisiting a location - something which is much easier nearby than far away!
